Winter ConVerge Events Reach 300
EWI ‘Converged’ in Morocco, Brussels, The Netherlands and Paris in early 2012, reaching 300 worship leaders, musicians, vocalists and sound techs. We were thrilled to hold ConVerge events in two new countries: Morocco and France. And this year marked our 9th year to host a training event for Brussels and our fifth year in The Netherlands.
In January, we took a training team from Europe to Casablanca (story page one) where more than 80 participants joined us for ConVerge Morocco followed by a citywide night of worship. Our team also led worship at an international church in Casablanca the next day.
In February, a training team from Pinelake Church, in Jackson, Mississippi joined us for Converge Brussels and ConVerge The Netherlands. This team also ministered at The Bridge in Paris, France and Living Waters Church in Delft.
In March, Bryan Grisham from Calvary Baptist in Shreveport, Louisiana led the teaching team for Converge Paris. We were excited to have 80 participants from the Paris region as well as from Orleans and Tours (the region of France where we lived and worked from 1998-2000).
Coming up in October are Converge events in Padova, Italy and Vienna, Austria. And in 2013: plans are underway to add events in Finland and Serbia!
