Jeff Slaughter is based in Brussels, Belgium and with wife Kathy and son Nick, serve as missionaries in Europe.

Raised in the church, Jeff accepted Christ as his Savior at the early age of eight -  just about the time he began taking piano lessons. At the age of 13, he began playing piano at a small church in Shreveport, Louisiana every Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night.  He grew to love the music ministry and has since served as pianist, vocalist and worship leader at churches in Louisiana, Mississippi, France and Belgium.

When the Slaughters moved to Europe, Jeff noticed that the majority of church worship teams were volunteers with a passion for serving in worship music ministry but with little to no training resources. Thus the idea for the founding of the European Worship Institute (formerly known as the 'Brussels European Worship Institute.' Over the years, EWI has grown from organizing events in Belgium to organizing events in The Netherlands. In 2011, EWI grows to include events in Austria, Italy and Albania.

Currently, Jeff and his family commute to Paris, France each weekend where he serves as worship pastor of The Bridge International Church (thebridgeparis.com).
